Q-mode Defined
Q-mode and R-mode refer to ordinations of sites and species, respectively. These terms are most used in the context of correspondence analysis and related methods. It turns out that R-mode and Q-mode analyses give identical results in correspondence analysis; see Digby and Kempton (1987) and ter Braak (1987).
